German and Sanskrit

I am teaching and thus learning German language since last two and half years. I was and I am in love with all the languages and this affair has been started seven eight years ago, when I was in school. I studied Sanskrit for the first time and immediately fell in love with her. It was scoring. I still remembered, that my Sanskrit teacher refused to distribute the answer-papers in class because I was absent and had scored out of marks. This made me feel so special and thus decided to start with further Sanskrit preparations.
German was never on my mind. It was all of sudden. I studied German but was not so sure about this profession. And then came the time, when I actually tried to link up these two languages. Sanskrit is said to be the mother of all the European languages. But there are critics for such a judgement. Anyway, Sanskrit seems to be at least a data provider to German, if not mother. Here I have short listed some similarities and traces of both the languages.
Many words of German language are similar to Sanskrit. Then comes the grammar part. I have always realised, that no one can teach or learn German on the basis of English language. Even though, many words of English and German language are similar, grammar part needs help of respective Native language. The verb acts so differently in German language, that English seems to be so easy. We make changes in verbs in both German as well as Sanskrit language as per the person.
Ich gehe  अहं गच्छामि।
Er geht स गच्छति।
The most crucial part of both languages is 'adjective endings'. Its impossible to explain in English, because English has no such rules. German and Sanskrit adjectives are declined based on gender, number and cases. One should have lots of passions and courage to get this adjective endings. I am studying both the languages simultaneously and thus preparing myself to trace their similarities with my studies. This blog is just an example of that. All suggestions are welcome so that I can put my studies in these manner further.
